Sleep underthe meridian.

A ten-dome observatory retreat on the high desert plateau, beneath the darkest measured skies on Earth. No town glow for four hundred kilometres. Only the long arm of the galaxy, and a one-metre instrument waiting for you after dinner.

An Evening at Meridian

One night, measured in starlight.

Every guest is paired with a resident astronomer. The programme bends to the sky — this is a clear-night template.

18:40 · Blue Hour

Ascent to the platform

Electric transfer up the ridge as the light drains west. Mezcal and altiplano small plates on the open deck while Venus sharpens over the salt flat.

20:15 · Dark Adaptation

Naked-eye calibration

Twenty minutes of red-light quiet to let your eyes open to their fullest aperture. Your astronomer walks the southern sky — the Magellanic Clouds, Alpha Centauri, the Coalsack — with nothing but a green laser.

22:30 · The Great Instrument

One metre of glass

Into the main dome. Omega Centauri resolves into ten million suns; the Tarantula Nebula sprawls in real photons, not pixels. You choose the targets; the mount is yours until the moon.

01:00 · Long Exposure

Your own photograph of the dark

We slave a cooled astrograph to your dome and stack while you sleep. A signed 60×90 print of your field ships to you within the month. Descent by 02:00 — or stay for the galactic core rising.
